Vote by 8pm on February 15
If you forgot to mail your ballot already, don’t worry! You have until 8pm on February 15th to mail it, or to drop it off at your local polling place, city hall, or one of the designated ballot drop boxes around the city.
NOTE: If you’re mailing your ballot on election day, make sure your mail is picked up before 8pm!
Forget to register to vote?
Don’t worry, unlike the rest of San Francisco government, we’ve got elections figured out. You can register up through election day, February 15th.
You can register at any polling place or at the Elections Department in the basement of City Hall. You can vote immediately after registering! Just make sure you’re voting in the correct district, otherwise you might not have a full ballot to fill out. The safest choices are to register at your local polling place or go to city hall.
Remember: You do NOT need to bring an ID to register or to vote. So don’t worry about not having a CA drivers license!

Need a new ballot?
If you didn’t get your ballot, lost it, or even if you made a mistake and need a brand new one, don’t fret! You can still vote in-person at your local polling place or City Hall.

Board of Education Recall
GrowSF was the first organization to endorse the recall of all three school board commissioners. We believe our elected officials ought to do their jobs, serve their constituents, and not insult the public. Commissioners Alison Collins, Gabriela López, and Faauuga Moliga have failed on every measure.
Nearly 70% of public school parents support the recall. They understand how high the stakes are — not just for their children, but for future generations. Don’t leave public school parents out in the cold. Vote to recall all three commissioners.
Board of Education commissioners Alison Collins, Gabriela López, and Faauuga Moliga have undermined the public's trust in the public education system, failed to perform their jobs to a minimum standard of care, consistently failed to create a plan to reopen schools closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and engaged in bullying and other unprofessional behavior in order to silence the parents trying to hold them accountable.

California Assembly, District 17
Like the Board of Education recall, GrowSF was the first organization to endorse political upstart Bilal Mahmood for California Assembly. Since then, his exciting campaign has clenched the endorsements of groups like YIMBY Action, the San Francisco Women's Political Committee, and even the San Francisco Chronicle.
Bilal Mahmood is an outsider that isn’t part of the political machine that has ruled San Francisco for decades. He’s a breath of fresh air and is bringing a refreshing new perspective and initiative to California’s problems.
Bilal Mahmood has a data-driven focus on increasing the housing supply, fighting climate change, and fixing our broken rules to help entrepreneurs create new businesses. He’s the only candidate who unambiguously supports the recall of all three Board of Education commissioners, and deeply understands the benefits of great public schools.
